Government report on GNSS critical dependencies

The UK Government Office for Science has published its long-awaited 'Satellite-derived Time and Position: A Study of Critical Dependencies'.

In a foreward to the report, the Minister for Implementation explains:
'This independent review represents a vital step in understanding the UK’s dependency on GNSS and recommends to Government a number of measures to improve our resilience. Importantly, it also recognises that innovation will be key to realising, fully and safely, the economic and societal benefits offered by GNSS. The Government will give all due consideration to its findings.'

The comprehensive 86-page report acknowledges contributions from many Institute members and includes sections on:
- Threats and Vulnerabilities
- Sector Dependencies
- Mitigations
