Future of Mobile Satellite Navigation
Come to a free day of presentations and networking on this most important topic.
Raw GNSS measurements from Android mobile device chips sets are enabling innovation and improved positioning and navigation performance. Recent release of all the raw data from Android mobile device chips sets offer potential for game-changing improvements in accuracy and integrity.
This event will explore the opportunities arising from the availability of this data to apps developers. Industry experts regard this as a game changer enabling much better positioning and navigation performance from mobile devices.
We are delighted to announce that Frank van Diggelen from Google will deliver the keynote address. Innovate UK will present on how this aligns with forthcoming funding opportunities, and we will hear from location based services apps developers, potential users, chip set manufacturers and technical experts.
The purpose of the event is to promote commercial exploitation of the new opportunities, and the day will include opportunities for networking.
This event is organised by Knowledge Transfer Network in partnership with RIN. It will be held from 1000 to 1700 on 10 July at Broadway House, Tothill Street, London. There is no charge for attending, but registration is required via the link below.
