Navigation on Foot Group

Walker's foot on a pathLong before the advent of the in-car navigation systems which are now all the rage, terrestrial navigators were finding their way around by a wide variety of means, from 'dead' reckoning to map & compass, and many still do so, with or without GPS. The Navigation on Foot group is the RIN's Special Interest Group dedicated to those members with an interest in such matters, be they orienteers, hillwalkers, surveyors, geocachers or simply just interested in more traditional navigating techniques.

The Navigation On Foot Group does not currently hold regular meetings, but has big plans for 2007-2008. To be among the first to hear them when they are announced, or to contact the Navigation On Foot Group, contact the Chair.
