The Indian government has given the go-ahead for Gagan - the country's satellite-based navigation overlay for air traffic management. The name 'Gagan' is Sanskrit for 'Sky'.

Civil and Military Air Group
The Civil and Military Air Group brings together all members with a professional interest in air navigation. This includes members with an operating, engineering or regulatory viewpoint. At present, the group has around 150 members, and organises two meetings per year.
The CMAG is very keen to increase its membership.
In particular, it needs committed volunteers to take an active role as Chair, Secretary and Newsletter editor.
