Air

There are currently three SIGS covering aviation issues: the Civil & Military Aviation Navigation Group, which covers airlines, air traffic control and all military aircraft (including rockets and the Space Shuttle); the General Aviation Navigation Group, which covers all smaller aircraft, including planes, helicopters, gliders, balloons etc; and the History of Aviation Navigation Group, which exists for all those with an interest in air history.

  This Group is for everyone with an interest in small craft or private flying.

• History of Air Navigation Group

  This Group celebrates and catalogues the practice of air navigation in the 20th century.

• Civil and Military Air Group

  This Group is for everyone with an interest in military or civil aviation navigation, from micro air vehicles to the Airbus A380, and including international policy and air traffic control.
