Increasingly popular with industry, government and the military, as well as recent graduates, the MSc and Diploma courses offer modules as follows:

 

  • Fundamentals of Satellite Positioning
  • Geodetic Reference Systems
  • Analytical Methods
  • Navigation Management
  • Digital Charting
  • Terrestrial Based Positioning
  • Navigation Systems & Integration
  • A project/dissertation (MSc only)
  • One optional module chosen from Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Satellite Positioning System Design

    Teaching is organised in intensive one-week modules with around 20 hours of lectures, plus seminars, example and laboratory classes, and tutorial work.

    Formal agreements exist with the MOD and the Royal Netherlands Naval College, granting entrance to the MSc and some module exemptions.

    The course is accredited by ICES.
