The well-respected Engineering Surveying and Geodesy course has been redesigned to include an enhanced satellite positioning content, and renamed as Geodetic Surveying. The course is aimed at young graduates, professionals from industry, private consultants, government/military personnel and academics.

Teaching is organised in intensive one-week modules consisting of approximately 20 hours of lectures, together with seminars, example classes, laboratory classes and tutorial work.

Currently MSc and Diploma courses offer modules as follows:
  • Fundamentals of Satellite Positioning
  • Advanced Satellite Positioning
  • Analytical Methods
  • Geodetic Reference Systems
  • Physical Geodesy
  • Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing
  • Practical field course
  • Engineering Surveying
  • A project/dissertation (MSc only)

    The course is accredited by the RICS and ICES.
