RIN President explodes Galileo 'myths' to launch NAV07 conference

Welcomming delegates from over 20 countries to London for the NAV07 conference, RIN President Professor David Last warned that the original reasons the EU had commissioned Galileo had been proved to be myths.

He also accused Europe of squandering the opportunity to steal a march on GPS and GLONASS by its 'pork barrel politics', and called on delegates to find a 'new vision' for the troubled satellite navigation constellation.
