About the Space Special Interest Group

Space Special Interest Group (SSIG)

 To be the focal point for all those who have interests in any aspect of the use of space that applies navigation, either directly or indirectly.  That is the provision, positioning and working of satellite constellations; the use of the signals from satellite systems for positioning or timing, the impact of space weather on transmitted signals. To provide a forum for users and designers of satellite navigation, position and location systems to discuss user requirements, experiences and other related information, with special reference to Galileo.

The Royal Institute of Navigation periodically sends out email updates to its membership and those who have subscribed to events and conferences run by the RIN.
