Navigation on Foot (NOF)

The main objectives of the Group are to improve safety in wild country, by raising standards of navigation and the awareness of current good practice in navigation and navigation training for individuals and groups.

The Group also investigates new teaching ideas and stimulates interest amongst teachers and young people in all aspects of navigation and the world of exploration (currently this SIG operates within LNLG).
