East Midlands Branch Event 5th March 2018 - Anderson Memorial Lecture

"Flying for Life" - Tim Allen, former RAF pilot and current test pilot.

This is an annual combined lecture with RAF Cranwell branch of the RAeS.

Tim Allen served as an RAF instructor and operational pilot, leading to military and civil test flying. He was the senior military test pilot for Sea Harrier and Harrier during the intensive trials in support of the Falklands War. Tim Allen's talk is entitled "Flying for Life" and includes critiques of the various aircraft he has met.

Wine is available before the lecture from 1900. Prior registration is essential to enable entry to RAF Cranwell. Please eMail emidlands@rin.org.uk with names and car registration numbers.
