Construction Week - 27th-29th September 2016- Lincolnshire Showground

Children from Cranwell Primary get to work on OS Maps

Over 400 primary pupils attended today's event. Out of consideration to the 'grownups' in the biting wind we moved inside this year where EM Chair Steve Hogarth and EM Secretary Dave Pike demonstrated six figure map references while Council Member John Cairns and Jeannine Pike supervised our Map Matching jigsaw puzzle activity. Hopefully, with the weather forecast to improve by the end of the week, we should be able to get outside and measure the size of the Earth and model the Solar System.
