New home for IESSG opens
The University of Nottingham's Institute of Engineering Surveying and Space Geodesy has a new home.
The Institute, along with the University's Centre for Geospatial Science and GRACE, the Galileo Research and Applications Centre of Excellence, will now be housed in a new £4.5m building in the university's Innovation Park, close to the Jubilee Campus. The Institute opened its doors to staff and students on 20 January.
Professor Alan Dodson, the university's Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Infrastructure and Environment, said: 'As home to one of the world's leading energy research groups, the University of Nottingham continues to invest in new sustainable buildings and cutting-edge facilities.'
