  • 05/02/2018 17:30:00 to 05/02/2018 18:15:00
  • Onboard HQS Wellington - Victoria Embankment

Speaker - Andy Wimbow

EfficienSea2, established under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme, is a 32-partner project led by the Danish Maritime Authority with partners from 12 countries.

The aim is to create and implement smart solutions for efficient, safe and sustainable traffic at sea through improved connectivity for ships. EfficienSea2 is a demonstrator in the Arctic and Baltic Sea of getting the maritime domain connected through coherent e-navigation solutions.

The speaker has been closely involved with the work, representing CIRM on the project, and will describe the developments made.

There will be the opportunity for the audience to express its views and to join the informal discussion in the Wardroom Bar before and afterwards.
