Navigator, Engineer, Scientist or Surveyor?
Whether you are a PhD, MSc, final year student, academic, or post-doctoral researcher - if you are interested in positioning technology or looking at the possibility of a career within the positioning and navigation industry this one day seminar is not to be missed. Industrial partners are also welcome and encouraged to attend.
The Royal Institute of Navigation’s Annual One Day Seminar is a special event for MSc and PhD students to explain their positioning and navigation research to a wide audience, and to gain an awareness of other developments in the domain.

- Meet key industry and government representatives.
- Discuss career development opportunities

Prizes for best papers:
There is a cash prize of £300 for the best paper on the day and a £150 runner-up prize. In addition, all presenters will be given a 2017/8 student membership of RIN.

Abstracts should be approx. 300 words. Please include the paper title and name(s), postal and e-mail addresses of the author(s). All abstracts must be submitted by 01 October 2017.
Upon selection, all authors will be notified by 12 October. Successful applicants will be invited to prepare a power point presentation to be given on the day (full papers will not be required). The presentations will be limited to one per Speaker.
Attendance is free to speakers, £10 for students, £30 for RIN Members and £40.00 for others. All prices include VAT. The fee will cover lunch and refreshments.
