The RIN SCG Electronic Navigation Conference will take place on 18th April 2018.
The RIN SCG Electronic Navigation Conference is the third in a series of periodic seminars/conferences on the subject of marine electronic navigation, primarily of interest to the leisure user but also of interest to the professional mariner.
We are delighted to be able to announce that the the 2018 Conference will be held in the Library of the Headquarters of Trinity House, which is situated on Tower Hill, overlooking the Tower of London.

In addition to the speaker sessions, there will be the opportunity during the two Panel Discussion and Question periods for delegates to comment upon matters relating to the role of traditional navigation skills and the proper use of Electronic Systems, as well as raise questions on any of the day’s presentations.
Prior registration is required for this one-day Conference and is now open through the link below. The Conference sessions will be held in the Library at Trinity House.
The cost of a delegate place at this one-day Electronic Navigation Conference is £35 per head for RIN members; £45 per head for non-members; £24 per head for full-time students. These costs include refreshments, lunch and VAT.
In addition, there are a limited number of table top exhibition spaces available at a cost of £300.00 plus VAT. Purchase of an exhibition table top display includes three full delegate places and your company name listed on this page of the RIN website and your company listed in any promotional emails/literature/news items issued by the Institute in relation to the Conference. The table top displays will be located in the Luncheon Room at Trinity House which is inter-connected to the Court Room , where the lunch and all refreshments will be served. Further details about the arrangements, including access, set-up and breakdown etc will be sent separately to those who wish to book a table top display. The Library, Luncheon Room and Court Room are all situated on the first floor and overlook Trinity Gardens and the Tower of London. There are lifts available for use by delegates and exhibitors, if required.
Getting to Trinity House:
Please note that apart from delivery drop offs for table top exhibitors, there is no parking available at the venue itself.
On street parking in the near vicinity is metered and limited to 2-4 hours. Multi Story Car Parking is available at Tower Hill ( Lower Thames Street) and The Minors for £3 an hour, which are both within a 10 minute walk of the venue.
It is recommended that delegates use public transport to get to Trinity House - the nearest Underground Station is Tower Hill on the Central and District Line, which is only a few minutes walk from the venue; the nearest DLR station is Tower Gateway about less than a 5 minute walk away as is Fenchurch St. railway station. Liverpool St. Station is about a 20 minute walk.
