The RIN held its Annual Meeting at the RGS on 15 July.
The Annual Meeting, which incorporated the Institute's Annual General Meeting as well as a number of fascinating talks, was held at the Royal Geographical Society.
There were two President’s Invitation Addresses: Rear Admiral John Lippiett CB CBE DL, Chief Executive of the Mary Rose Trust, described 'Insights into Tudor navigation from the Mary Rose'; and Professor David Delpy CBE, Chair of the Strategic Advisory Board of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council Quantum Technologies Programme, and Chair of the MOD's Scientific Advisory Council, covered 'The UK National Quantum Technologies Programme and its relevance to Navigation.'
Our Patron, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, attended and presented the Annual Awards and TopNav Prizes.
