Royal Navy Aircrew Officer Navigation and Weapons Systems / Observer

What you do:
Operate the complex surveillance, anti-surface and anti-submarine warfare systems on Royal Naval helicopters. A specialized aviator, you’re an expert in navigation and operations.

What sort of skills and attributes are needed:
Calm, confident and decisive under pressure, you must be able to think in three dimensions, and visualize objects below the water or over the horizon. You need to be flexible, adaptable and completely reliable, managing your own workload. As an officer, you’ll have leadership potential, as well as the ability to work as part of a team.

What you need:
Age:17 - 25 years old
Gender:Male / Female
Nationality:British or British Dual
Qualifications:180 UCAS points and five GCSEs (A* to C)/ Scottish Standard grades or equivalent, which must include English and maths. For Direct Graduate Entry, you’ll need a degree or equivalent, 180 UCAS points and five GCSEs (A* to C)/ Scottish Standard grades or equivalent, which must include English and maths.
